Customer Requirement
A customer needed to cut a specific fabric supplied in rolls, characterized by a significant thickness and a perforated structure that caused frequent blockages with traditional cutting systems.
Proposed Solution
To solve this issue, a customized solution was evaluated by creating a complete cutting unit with a roll holder and a rotary blade cutting system, designed to prevent blade clogging during processing.
The configuration was further optimized by adding two liftable iron rods, positioned on the right and left sides of the blade. This system allows the material to remain slightly pressed during cutting while ensuring continuous fabric feeding when the material needs to advance.
A test was therefore carried out using a cutting machine similar to the proposed configuration, in order to verify the cutting quality and the material handling performance.

Results and Conclusions
The test result was excellent: the system provided a clean, precise cut without burrs, eliminating the blockage issues encountered with previous solutions and confirming the suitability of the proposed configuration.
