Customer requirement
The customer needed to automate the sealing process of their boxes, applying adhesive tape to both the top and bottom sides quickly and uniformly.
The particular challenge was the management of different formats: tall vertical boxes and standard horizontal boxes. The objective was therefore to find a single solution capable of adapting to both types, ensuring stability, precision, and continuous operation.
Proposed solution and machine used
After analyzing the dimensions and variety of the packages, the FP 9037 case sealer was proposed, a versatile solution designed for automatic adhesive tape application on boxes of different sizes.

The machine is equipped with a double drive system, both upper and lower, which ensures smooth and stable box movement during the taping process.
This feature is particularly important for handling tall vertical boxes, which require greater stability while passing through the machine.
In addition, the FP 9037 allows processing boxes with:
- maximum box height up to 500 mm
- minimum box height up to 100 mm
making it suitable also for standard horizontal box formats.
Test performed
During the test, both vertical and horizontal boxes were tested to verify the versatility of the machine.
The video shows the automatic box feeding process and the application of adhesive tape on both the top and bottom sides in a single continuous operation.
The system demonstrated smooth operation, with regular and stable box movement even with taller formats.
Result and conclusions
The test confirmed the full suitability of the FP 9037 case sealer for handling mixed box formats.
The double drive system ensures stability and precision, while the height adjustment allows the machine to easily adapt to different packaging types.
The solution proved to be efficient and reliable, improving the speed of the packaging process and reducing operator manual intervention.
