Customer requirement
A company operating in the confectionery sector needed to innovate and speed up the marking process on its packaging, while improving print readability and consistency throughout the production line.
The goal was to achieve an automatic solution, integrable with the existing conveyor belt, capable of marking the packages at the desired point without interrupting the production flow.
Proposed solution and machine used
To meet this requirement, an industrial inkjet printer FPA2 PRO was proposed and installed directly on the customer’s conveyor line.

The system was installed with a top-down printing orientation, according to the specific requirements of the production line.
The printer is compatible with both porous and non-porous surfaces and offers great printing flexibility, including:
- multi-line text
- production batches
- expiry dates
- customized logos and symbols
Test carried out
During the test, the system was integrated into the existing production line, verifying its ability to print continuously and accurately on moving packages.
The video shows the automatic marking applied directly onto the product, without stopping the conveyor belt. The prints are sharp, highly readable, and consistent, even at a constant production speed.
Result and conclusions
The test confirmed the full suitability of the FPA2 PRO inkjet printer for this type of packaging.
The system ensures continuous, flexible, and high-quality marking, perfectly adapting to automated production lines.
The solution proved to be effective in improving process efficiency, reducing processing times, and increasing the traceability of the finished product.
