Customer requirement

The customer needed to package multiple tubes together in order to facilitate shipping and ensure better logistics management of the finished product.

The main objectives were:

• grouping multiple pieces into a single package
• protecting the tubes during transport
• speeding up the packaging process

Proposed solution and machine used

To meet this requirement, an RP85 series chamber packaging machine was proposed, the largest model in the range, capable of handling products of significant dimensions and quantities.

The solution was configured to operate with:

• automatic packaging system
• automatic discharge of the packaged product to increase productivity

Material used: polyolefin film

For the packaging process, polyolefin film was selected, as it is a more elastic and less rigid solution compared to PVC.

This choice was based on specific technical requirements:

• greater material elasticity
• better adaptation to the shape of the tubes
• reduced risk of film breakage

In this specific case, the edges of the tubes could be sharp, and the polyolefin film provided greater resistance, preventing cuts or damage to the packaging.

Results obtained

The test showed very positive results:

• stable packaging of multiple tubes together
• effective protection during handling
• fast and automated packaging process
• reduced risk of film damage
• improved production efficiency
