Customer requirement
The customer needed to automate the packaging process of their boxes, protecting them from dust and scratches while keeping the film open on two sides.
In particular, they required a continuous, automatic and functional process, both from an aesthetic and operational point of view.
The volume and type of boxes required a solution capable of:
- working continuously
- reducing manual packaging times
- ensuring protection and stability of the finished product
- improving the aesthetic appearance of the packaging
Proposed solution and machine used
To meet these requirements, a bundling machine with shrink tunnel was proposed.
The solution consists of:
- Automatic bundling machine with film sealing and cutting system, sized according to the dimensions of the box
- Shrink tunnel
The process takes place in two stages:
Bundling machine
The machine wraps and cuts the shrink film to size around the box, leaving the two sides open and creating a precise package.
Shrink tunnel
The product passes through the tunnel, where controlled hot air allows the film to perfectly adhere to the box, creating a compact and resistant package.

The test showed very positive results:
- fully automated packaging process
- excellent production speed (continuous process)
- resistant and protective packaging
- improved aesthetic appearance of the final product
