A customer needed to weld an advertising banner, with the specific requirement of performing the welding operation while the material was partially wrapped around an iron rod.

Proposed solution

Based on the customer’s request, a solution using a handheld impulse welding machine was immediately considered, as it can operate precisely even in areas where a standard benchtop welding machine could not reach, while ensuring a strong and reliable weld.

The Super Poly handheld welding machine was therefore proposed, also equipped with adjustable welding power settings, a key feature for adapting to different materials and thicknesses.

Result and conclusions

After carrying out several tests, the machine proved to be perfectly suitable for this type of application. The weld obtained was solid, precise, and evenly distributed even on a non-linear surface such as the banner partially wrapped around the iron rod.

The final result was excellent, confirming the Super Poly welding machine as a practical, versatile, and highly effective solution for special applications like this one.
