Customer requirement
A company specialized in the production of hair care products needed to seal already filled tubes, with the aim of speeding up packaging operations without compromising the quality of the closure, both from a functional and aesthetic point of view, as the products were intended for retail sale.
To meet this requirement, some tube samples provided by the customer were analyzed in order to identify the most suitable solution for fast, precise, and uniform sealing.
Proposed solution
The proposed solution was a ME FDE motorized welding machine, configured to seal 4 tubes simultaneously, thus ensuring a significant increase in productivity while maintaining high welding quality.
During the welding tests, an additional solution was also proposed: the development of a tube holder jig, designed to keep the 4 tubes perfectly positioned throughout the sealing cycle. This solution made it possible to achieve consistently aligned, uniform, and repeatable seals.

Result and conclusions
The combination of the motorized machine and the dedicated positioning system made it possible to optimize the process, reducing operating times and improving sealing precision.
The test result was excellent: the solution proved to be effective, fast, and perfectly suited to the customer’s production requirements.
