Customer requirement
A customer needed to weld a banner made of particularly thick material, with the requirement of obtaining a strong seal without the risk of damaging or melting the material.
To verify the feasibility of the application, samples were requested from the customer. Several welding tests were then carried out to identify the correct operating parameters.
Proposed solution
After the initial temperature adjustment tests, the optimal configuration was identified to achieve a stable and uniform weld.
The machine used is a ME FDE motorized benchtop welding machine, particularly suitable for thick and difficult-to-weld materials.
This welding machine is equipped with motorized bar closing, a feature that ensures constant and powerful pressure, which is essential for achieving strong welds on high-thickness materials.

The combination of temperature control and uniform pressure made it possible to achieve an optimal result without compromising the integrity of the banner.
The test outcome was positive: the welding machine proved to be suitable for this type of application, ensuring a solid, clean, and reliable seal even on particularly complex materials.
