Customer requirement
The customer needed to organize and tie tubes during transport and warehouse storage operations, particularly for maintenance activities on industrial machines.
The goal was to find a solution that would keep the tubes organized, compact and easy to handle, without damaging or marking them during the tying process.
Proposed solution and machine used

This machine allows two ties to be made on each tube, ensuring stable but gentle fastening thanks to the use of elastic thread, which does not damage the material surface.

This version is specifically designed to work with smaller diameters compared to the standard solution, making it particularly suitable for cables, pipes and cylindrical products.
Test performed
During the test, different tubes used for industrial maintenance were tested, verifying the machine’s ability to keep them compact and organized.
The video shows the application of two ties on each tube, with a uniform and well-distributed result along the bundle.
The elastic thread provides effective fastening without crushing or damaging the material, while also ensuring easy removal when required.
Results and conclusions
The test confirmed the effectiveness of FP ASTRO elastic thread tying machines for tube management in industrial applications.
Both solutions proved to be suitable, with the FP ASTRO IN 2 being particularly suitable for smaller diameters and more specific applications.
The system allows tubes to be managed in an organized, fast and safe way, improving storage and transport operations without compromising product integrity.
